The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (2000 c. 36) is the implementation of freedom of information legislation in the United Kingdom on a national level.

It is an Act of Parliament that introduces a public "right to know" in relation to public bodies.

The act implemented a manifesto commitment of the Labour Party in the 1997 general election.

This website is dedicated to entirely wasting the time of the public bodies it applies to.

Hiya.

I love this site!

Can you enable comments on all post so that I can give you constructive criticism and unasked for opinions on everything you do from now on?

Maybe Norbert Young could take suggestions for his next queries?

Thanks, lovey.
I'm off now to pretend to work for another 7 mins before I do some real work and put it down as overtime...
